Jive Solos

We had Jive solo auditions on Wednesday.

I did a solo:

"Nothing" from A Chorus Line

And a duet with Kiefer:
"Moments" by One Direction

Everyone thought they both sounded great!

But all of the solos (with the exception of maybe 2 or 3) sounded INCREDIBLE.

And there were like 17 solos.

So some had to be cut.

I was pretty sure Kiefer and I would get the duet.

But I didn't think I'd get my solo.

Because Casperson has to cut some numbers.

And if I was in the duet, I was okay not having a solo.

But I got them both.

Cappy put in 11 solos.

More than I've ever seen in a Jive show EVER BEFORE.

Wow.

And having two solo numbers in one show is incredible for me!

My sister only made one solo number her entire Jive career, and my brother made none.

And so my first Jive show I get one solo, and my second Jive show I get two?!

Amazing.

And my incredible friend Emilee Gomske sent me a text saying:

"I just wanted to say that you did amazing today, and I am proud ofyou and I just feel so blessed to have you in my life!! I love you!"

That text pretty much made my life. :)
