At the Ropes Course

As Girls' Camp YCLs we went to the ropes course.

It was fun, but I was late, so I didn't get to do a whole lot.

But here are Emilee and Taylor up on some wires.

(I'm kinda glad I didn't have to do that one.  It looks a LITTLE too freaky.)

A 1D Post

Fangirling.  Over One Direction.  A lot.  So sorry.  And here's a long 1D rant/happy-not-ranting post. :)

But yeah.  So... last night Liam was going to do another Twitcam.  And I was like WHAT?!?!?  It was so exciting!  I've never been on the computer during his Twitcams before!  #EXCITEMENT!  But... (as Liam would say) "Twitch" wasn't working.  :(  So I didn't even get to watch it anyway. :( :(  Poo.  But sweet Liam decided to go on a Twitter following spree to make up for it!  :D  But of course, just going down his  followers list he only followed his most recent followers.  Which doesn't include me. :(  But I don't mind because he is just the sweetest guy. :)

And also... I BOUGHT THE 1D BOOK!!!! :D :D  Dare to Dream  I love it.  It's so perf!  While reading it I feel like all the boys are by best friends.  Which actually kinda makes me sad because I realize that they aren't. :(  But it's still super great.

Oh!  And when I bought the book at Target I was skimming through 1D related magazines... and I saw the cover of one that had this picture... so I had to criticize it.  Please don't judge me for judging the stupid magazine.

In another 1D magazine (or it may have been the same one... I wasn't paying close enough attention) it said that Zayn had the best butt.  Now, I'm not saying that there is anything WRONG with Zayn's butt.. but (heh, I said butt but) Louis butt is DEFINITELY the best.  No discussion.  And it said Niall had the best eyes.  I agree that Niall's eyes are insanely gorgeous.

...But I prefer Harry's.  And I think quite a few Directioners agree.

I mean. Seriously.  They're a mixture of green, gray, and gorgeous.

But honestly Niall's eyes are incredible as well.  I just can't choose between the two.

Nevermind magazine.  I'm sorry for getting angry at you.  It must have been difficult to choose between two such flawless creatures.

Oh.  And I'm angry at 1D's management.  For releasing their Tumblr.  Now everyone knows about the directioners of Tumblr.  No.  It was our secret!  Ughh.  Now all the little Facebookers are gonna come and have no idea what's going on.  *Tsk tsk tsk*

 I wish I could meet them.  Just once.  So badly.  My goal is to meet them someday.  No matter what it takes.  I will.  ...I hope. :/

Memorial Day

Hufstetlers came over for a Memorial Day picnic.

Logan brought Shanise.

Normally Shanise and I would talk a lot, but (as Shanise later mentioned to me) I was feeling kind of distant.

...Instead I laid in the grass and took pictures.

Saw this at Welch's during my piano recital.

I didn't buy it.  (It was too simple.)

But I wanted to document that I saw it. :D

Excited!

Today I bought Wreck This Journal.

I'm excited.

Now I get to fill it out.

And I'm going to document it.

Probably on a Tumblr blog... it'll be simpler that way.

Decades Project.

We had the 70's.

I don't have our actual video to post... it was too long to be emailed to me. :(  Sadness.

But I made "rainbow pot brownies" for our food.

They are rainbow cheesecake brownies.

But we called them pot brownies... because it was the 70's.

Duh.

They were pretty legit I must admit.

The first attempt was a fail, though.

I mean, they tasted good... but they looked kinda nasty.

The second time I used better and brighter colors.  And it was a success.

And they were even more delicious.

Everyone loved them. :)

And was glad to see him. :D

Too bad.  It's delicious.

Eating a carrot after a Hot Cheeto is probably the best thing ever.

That's the bus we took to All-State a couple weeks ago.

It made me happy to see it on the road.

Banana Bread

Mikey said he wanted banana bread nonchalantly in conversation.

Ten minutes later Hannah offers him this.

Yes.  That is slices of rotten banana on a slice of bread.

Mikey declined.

Hannah took a bite.

Then the bread sat untouched.

But hey, it's the thought that counts!

A 4 year old making her older brother some banana bread is pretty cute...

...and funny. :)

And Mikey made real banana bread the next day.

Yum. :)

Silly Russell

The academic banquet for school was tonight.

It was fun. :)  Russell and I made pictures with our smarties.

And our table was right next to the line to get food.

So everyone was looking at our wonderful pieces of artwork.

They were in awe.

Afterwards Russell came to my house and we watched Thor and half of Captain America.

But then it was 1:30 AM, and he needed to leave.

...For some strange reason, every single time Russell comes over to my house he ends up staying into the wee hours of the night.

Like that one time he was here almost until 4.

Yeah.

These cookies were delicious.

But my little brother Michael took one bite of one and decided he didn't like it.

So I told him the cookie would haunt him.

He didn't believe me.

So I put it on his pillow like so.

Snail

I made this snail out of Hershey minis candy wrappers.

I know I'm creative.  You don't have to tell me. ;)

It was fun. :D

(Sometimes there just isn't a whole lot to do in seminary.)

Tomorrow

Tomorrow my boys will be recording new music.

YES.

Am I going to be able to pay attention in school tomorrow?

NO.

Am I incredibly disappointed at the great amount of time

between them recording and releasing their new album?
